Card of the Week - The Euphemism

This week's Card of the Week celebrates not taking that awkward pause when someone asks, "sure she set my car on fire, but do you think we should get back together?". The easy answer is the long pause and stuttering, "sure". The difficult answer is the, "I suppose if you are willing to let me call someone to 5150 you on an involuntary 72-hour hold first". The good friend takes a deep breath and finds a way to tell the truth without crushing the spirit. "Is this apoplexy? Am I having a case of apoplexy? No seriously, that's what would have to happen for me to agree with that statement."
